Introducing Mark Hewitt, Venari Partners’ new Principal Interim Finance Consultant

Mark Hewitthas joined the Finance Executive Search practice at Venari Partners. Read on for more about Mark’s background and the sectors he works in.

We are pleased to welcome Mark Hewitt as Venari Partners' new Principal Interim Finance Consultant. He will be working with Principal Finance ConsultantSpencer Tarrantto build out our interim finance offering globally. Appointing a recruiter of Mark’s calibre is a most welcome step, not least as we continue to build our capacity in the interim CFO space.

Mark's work

Mark did a Gap Year Commission in the British Army before he started his career as a stockbroker. He spent seven years on the trading floor before pivoting to the talent sector in 2012, leveraging his experience to hire senior contractors and senior interim leadership talent in finance roles. Mark enjoys interim recruitment in particular for its pace. The fast, results-driven nature of the work ‘suits me down to the ground,’ in his own words.

Mark has placed well over 80 senior interim hires to date. He has worked with a wide range of companies, from owner-managed businesses looking to scale all the way through to supporting major blue-chip FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 organisations with large transformation programmes. These have included multiple hires into organisations such asGSK,CBRE, andSignature Aviation, as well as major large-cap private equity companies like3iandPolaris Growth Fund.

Prior to joining Venari Partners, Mark had been a Director atZRG Partners. He also held senior positions atInvestigoand is thrilled to be back working with various former colleagues from that time.

Next steps

For Mark, the level of support available from Venari Partners’ research and marketing function was a big draw – as were the global nature of the firm's business and the markets it operates in. Mark is genuinely passionate about the aerospace, automotive, and marine industries; there is a huge amount of change and transformation happening in these spaces and Mark is very excited to continue working with these sectors in his new role.
